Position Title: Senior Planner
Location: FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) – Project Sites Across Australia
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner with a strong background in civil and earthwork construction to join our dynamic team. This is a FIFO role requiring a professional who can effectively manage and develop project schedules, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align schedules with project goals.
  • Analyze critical paths, forecast delays, and propose mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including S-curves, histograms, and earned value metrics.
  • Review and validate subcontractor schedules for compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress and ensure schedule alignment with actual activities.
  • Support tender processes with baseline schedule development and resource allocation.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Planner in civil and earthwork construction projects.
  • Strong proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a FIFO arrangement with flexibility for site-based operations.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction ManagementEngineering, or related disciplines.
